Ana Gannod Schechtman is a brand strategy, innovation, and marketing consultant, working with founders and big organizations alike to align product, marketing, and business strategies into one cohesive experience for the customer. With projects spanning the gamut from audience and brand definition to content strategies and integrated channel planning, Ana loves the unique challenges each project brings.
Since the beginning of her career, Ana has been passionate about helping people and organizations bring their big ideas to life through simple stories and out-of-the-box experiences that create real impact. She started her career at ad agencies, Havas and BBDO, working in account management for large integrated accounts like Bank of America. She realized brand building was her calling, so she moved upstream into branding agency, FutureBrand, working with Fortune 50 clients to transition their most fundamental brand and business assets into modern, contemporary beacons for their business. Branding didn’t feel like quite enough so she zigzagged her career further upstream. Most recently, she’s worked at co:collective, a brand transformation and innovation firm, for such clients as Under Armour, IBM, and 21st Century Fox.
Ana has won awards from REBRAND 100, Transform, and HOW International for her work on coordinated global rebranding, internal culture engagement, and visual design. Most recently, her work on IBM Blockchain has helped position the emerging business unit as the leader in the development and deployment of enterprise distributed ledger technology, outpacing the next largest competitor by almost a factor of 10.
Ana holds a bachelor’s degree from NYU, where she designed her own major focusing on Marketing, Dramatic Literature, and Cultural Policy. She lives in Harlem with her husband and their 13 year old dog, Taz. She loves all things musical theatre, a fervent shoe lover, and most recently spent the summer in the Philippines visiting her 100-year-old grandmother.
